Football Games/SAT Test Date
**DO NOT register for the October 4, 2008 SAT date! Please register for November 1, 2008
to avoid conflicts with our marching band performances. In case a football game is postponed (due to weather
or any other cause) we must leave our Saturdays open so that we are able to perform at the rescheduled game.
After-School Rehearsals *The
marching band will rehearse on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:30-4:45pm every week. Drum Line
will have evening practices on Tuesdays from 6pm-8pm (Except the first day of school they will rehearse with the band after
school)
Attendance Policy Committing to the band means committing to the schedule for the length
of the season. Every member is expected to attend every rehearsal and every performance. Band camp is mandatory
for everyone and missing band camp may result in
your dismissal from the band. Absences are excused at the discretion of the director, and must be presented
IN WRITING WITH A PARENT SIGNATURE to the director. Emergencies will be addressed on a case by case basis. Any
two (or combination there of) excused tardies, excused absences, and excused early dismissals in one week will result in being
pulled from the performance(s) that weekend. Any unexcused tardy, absence, or early dismissal will result
in being pulled from the performance(s) that weekend. In the event of an emergency, please call the band
